At Zarephath we are committed to providing state-of-the-art respite services and life skills training. We believe that early intervention is essential to help children who are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse issues to recover and results in a better quality of life for both the children and families that we serve. Zarephath pursues its mission to provide creative behavioral health solutions through the following:
Our service offerings include community interventions that are evidence based. For example, the provision of respite services to foster care children, including those receiving behavioral health services, has shown merit in reducing costly out-of-home placements, reducing family stress and helping children reach their service goals. We also utilize a research-based essential life skills curriculum based on social competency models developed by Teen Challenge and Casey Family Programs.
Being of Service to the Community
Zarephath staff value the importance of being of service to the community and are dedicated to giving back to the local neighborhoods we serve. We take our commitment to provide life skills and enjoyable therapeutic activities seriously and are grateful for the trust that the community places on us to safely care for their children and youth.
Our staff strives to provide services that are relevant to each child’s culture. Services are tailored to the individual child’s and family’s unique interests, talents, preferences and traditions. Zarephath currently provides respite services, life skills training and counseling across the state of Arizona.
